Technical Assistance Call - November 2007 - Grantee Training Efforts print

November 2007 Monthly TA Call

"Join the Training Bandwagon - Grantees Talk About ADRC Training"

Training has emerged as a front and center issue as ADRC grantees plan to take the ADRC statewide and/or transition additional pilot sites from existing aging and disability organizations into ADRCs. At both the state and local levels, ADRCs must train new and existing staff in the ADRC philosophy, techniques to facilitate consumers' informed decision-making, population sensitivity, public program eligibility, private pay resources, and much more.
